Mike Young, the founder of Birkshire Developments Inc. is a qualified and experienced carpenter and bricklayer with over 35 years of experience in the construction industry. Birkshire Developments Inc, is a company known for creating quality, high-end homes that include many upscale interior and exterior details. Our homes all feature plywood construction, in-floor radiant heat, Cape Cod wood siding, and Kohler Windows. We make all of our own interior trim and moldings.

We pride ourselves on superior workmanship, and the client is our most valuable asset. We offer a wide range of house plans to suit all tastes and budgets.

Birkshire Developments Inc. is a member of the Canadian Home Builders Association and is safety certified through the N.S. Construction Safety Association, as well as the BBB and Construction Association of NS. Birkshire Developments Inc. offers full insurance coverage on all projects and is covered under the Worker’s Compensation Board of NS.
